After C was transferred to the 10th floor, Andrew was his nurse for several days. C was just becoming aware of his surroundings and Andrew was the perfect nurse to take care of him. He would come in and sit and talk with us. He would play games with C and he always helped us in any way he could. There were a few days that Andrew was working, but wasn't C's nurse. He still made it a point to come in and speak to him and check to see if he needed anything. A few days ago, Andrew came in to see C and he was wearing street clothes. When I asked if he was working, he said he wasn't and was off for 2 weeks for a family vacation. He knew C would likely be gone when he came back to work, so he wanted to come in and tell him goodbye and wish him the best of luck. This meant so much to C and so much to us. We love you, Andrew.
