Andrew Womelduff, RN, BSN

Andrew's face should be in the dictionary for "team player". He's willing to fill any role needed in our unit. Last week, the whole hospital was extremely busy, and staff members were getting moved around. They ended up having to take three staff members off of our floor. Andrew somehow picked up the slack by taking on a whole assignment while being the charge nurse and still helping the team with patience and grace. Most of the nurses had never been on our floor, and he was easing their unfamiliarity as he always does.

Andrew has prevented many falls with his quick legs, and his critical thinking skills have put his patients in better positions. If it were possible to request a nurse for my family member or any person I love, Andrew would be the first one I picked. He has a huge heart, he is extremely smart, and I know they would be safe for the 13 hours he is on the floor. I'm grateful to have Andrew as a part of our team, I hope he's always on mine!
