Angela Fish has held two leadership positions in Surgical Services, ANM over orthopedics, podiatry, and plastics; and presently as the nurse manager of the CVOR. Angela is a strong leader who shows integrity, justice, and compassion in all her decisions. She is very thoughtful and reflective when making decisions and open to different thoughts and ideas. Her work in the CVOR has been particularly challenging with a very difficult group of caregivers and medical staff. She has built a stronger, more effective, and satisfied team (as defined by her employee satisfaction survey results). I appreciate Angela's commitment to our patients and caregivers. She was very passionate about and instrumental in starting our Honor Walk and has attended all of them regardless of the time or day of the week. She has done an outstanding job working on the Heart Transplant program, making sure her team, as well as the procurement team from the MOR, were ready, comfortable, confident, and successful. Angela is a great model of the Providence mission and core values. Angela did great work during the beginning of the pandemic, helping caregiver health get set up and working effectively. She makes a positive impact everywhere she works.
