...Most recently Angie was called in to take care of new admissions on a busy Monday when a care center had to be reopened. She walked into three new admissions with sporadic help of the team leader. After the fourth new admission Angie got the help of a PCT. By the end of the shift, the sixth new admission was being completed. Not once did Angie complain or get angry. She faced the challenge with her calm and quiet steady manner. Angie went above and beyond to welcome and give her patients compassionate care paying attention to detail and communicating their orders to them. She displayed excellent nursing skills and was utterly professional in this seemingly impossible challenge. My job as team leader was easier that day due to Angie's attitude and willingness. Angie is an exceptional team player and extraordinary nurse.
