My father was admitted to the CCU after a bad fall. He had broken several bones in his face and a rib. At almost 91, he has other health issues, as well. He's a rather stubborn man, often insistent that he doesn't need help.
Angie was wonderful. She was able to convince him to eat, to sit up and walk around. She helped to keep his spirits up even though he had fallen into depression, due to his limitations after his accident. She kept the family well informed and offered us assistance with home physician and nursing care. Angie had the best cheerful, optimistic attitude and she kept us all hopeful that the future would be manageable.
Dad loved Angie and he doesn't take to new people very easily. I believe Angie was the reason Dad was up and moving and recovering quickly. My family is very grateful and she went above and beyond our expectations!
