I have seen this extraordinary nurse go above and beyond every day at work. She always had an answer to everything and will help at anything to make our clinic run smoothly. I would see Angela attend to our emergency (codes) like a true hero would. I so admire her; she has been my inspiration from the moment I met her. That's my goal this year is to be more like her and follow her footsteps. She has taught me that everything is possible.

We have a patient who from birth has had a very rough time with his health. His mom has struggled to keep him healthy and was even told that he would not survive as long as he has. This child has exceeded all expectations that have been brought forth and his mother looks for Angela when she comes into the clinic because she has given her support and encouragement through all of the medical appointments and listened to the stories of the surgeries and struggles that this family goes through. Angela has shown this family love and support and when this child comes to the clinic and sees her he lights up! He looks at her with love and appreciation and sees that she cares for him.
This is a feeling that I know isn't just felt by him and his family. Angela makes a difference in all the lives that she touches!

New born NP appt. was scheduled at East Health Center because we have availability but parents often prefer a much closer clinic to home. They live down the street from East Health Center and sometimes will have transportation issues. Parents called to schedule but were told it would be scheduled a little far out. Angela was aware of parent's request got on the phone with PL and got patient scheduled sooner and now they are logistically transferred to this health center. Both parents were very grateful. Angela is very caring of her patients.
