Nurse Angelina provided excellent post-procedure care for my husband. He was moved to the CPCU about ⅓ of the way through recovery. Nurse Angelina was very kind and attentive. She provided updates regularly and was very relatable, enduring my husband and my sense of humor. She was also concerned about me as I was suffering from an aching back. She offered to get pillows or otherwise assist. Nurse Angelina kept us in the CPCU until my husband's wound site completely stopped bleeding; he was on a blood thinner. We were most impressed that as we neared discharge that night, she called my husband’s physician to clarify his medication restrictions and discussed his case before discharge. Nurse Angelina even went to several locations herself to find a wheelchair, wheeled my husband out, and assisted until he was in our vehicle. She even looked at our wedding pictures! I believe her services were exceptional and she spoke glowingly of her experience working with Ascension.
