Angie makes every patient and family she cares for feel special. She connects with them, seeks to understand them. We had a patient who was hospitalized for 30 days. She had been placed on a ventilator several times during her stay. She refused to eat, to walk, etc. Angie took her under her wing and worked diligently with her. She got her eating and walking the entire loop. Angie took her to the atrium (outside of AIC) and sat down with her. The patient was truly transformed. This is but one of the patients Angie has gone above and beyond for and has made a significant difference for.
