I had Anju as my nurse for two nights. One night while having severe pain, Anju contacted the hospitalist and came up with an hourly plan to get my pain under control. Anju went above and beyond to ensure she understood my problem and addressed it on the spot. She made sure to include me in the process and to make constant contact with me on how well the new plan was working. She showed genuine compassion and care throughout this event. While I had tears in my eyes and true fear, she continued to show she had my best interest in mind. The second night I had her I had the opportunity to rest knowing I was being taken care of by an RN who treats patients as more than just a patient but more like a family member. Her professionalism, compassion, and heart were demonstrated to me during my stay. Anju and the team of nurses and techs continued to care for me when I was truly in pain like I have never felt. Her promptness and personal caring of patients, such as myself, is something that I wish a standard for all patients. I cannot thank her enough for bringing comfort in my truest time of need. I know any patient she comes in contact with is blessed.
