Ann Garland, RN

Ann is special every day. She shows unwavering patience, kindness, and calm to her patients, coworkers, and all those whom she interacts with. No matter her workload, she checks on others to offer help and support. Ann brings treats for her co-workers almost every shift she works to make them feel “cared for.” My specific reason for nominating Ann relates to a forecasted severe snow day. It was projected that there would be significant snow accumulation. Ann lives far from the hospital so two days before the storm, she made local hotel arrangements so she would be certain she would make it to work to support our patients and her team.
