Ann is truly a beautiful soul. She goes well above the call of duty to take great care of her patients and nurture the many new graduate nurses that have come through orientation. She takes the time to listen and provide genuine feedback. As one of the only experienced nurses on night shift in the CCU, she has taken it upon herself to be the "mother hen" of the unit. Speaking of mother hens, Ann has a passion for farming and is often providing fresh eggs, vegetables, and flowers to many caregivers across our hospital. She is always looking out for others and has demonstrated strong leadership in the unit. Ann has picked up an extra shift a week to help out with short-staffing for well over a year. She is continuously getting compliments from patients, families, and her peers. Ann is well-known for her wealth of knowledge in which many patients ask for her to be assigned to them when she is on duty. She is a beautiful gem that we can no longer keep a secret!
