December 2020 Honoree
Anna Laws, RN
Anna took care of my grandma. My grandma came into the hospital in AFib and was on a cardiac drip to control her heart rate. She was very nervous because this was the first time she was a patient in the hospital. Anna had an amazing way of explaining things in a fun, easy way. She described AFib as the heart doing spirit fingers and it made everyone laugh and put us all at ease. Anna made my grandma feel better which in turn made my grandpa more comfortable, which was a big deal. He was very nervous. I felt able to leave here because I knew they were going to be well taken care of. It was a great comfort. Thank you, Anna!
Thank you, Anna, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
