Anna is absolutely amazing. She is a nurse clearly because of her desire to help people become not only physically healthier but by helping her patients emotionally as well went such a long way for me. When I came in I was in rough shape, and had to endure so many obstacles along the way, words can’t explain how incredibly hard at times it was to stay positive and not want to just give up. Not only did Anna make me feel safe, and I always knew I was in good hands when she was working, but she also provided me with the best emotional support anyone could ever ask for. She gave me the courage, faith, and ambition to just keep going and fighting. And for the first time in many years of being sick, all this sincere dedication to my care gave me hope and the will to not give up. It assured me that I was worth the hard work I needed to commit to, and then there could be light at the end of the tunnel. Three months later, it took a lot of great nurses and techs to get me where I am today, but I am in better health now for the first time than prior to 2017. It’s not going to be easy, and it’s going to be a long journey ahead, but I now believe I’m going to make it and one day be healthy enough again to live independently and that I’m going to live a normal life again someday. A big part of getting me there so I can continue enjoying life to the fullest is utilizing the tools I learned from Anna along the way to properly care for my medical needs, along with myself, and how important self-care is going to be. What all her hard work and dedication means is that I have been given the best chance ever to succeed. And that means being healthy enough to continue to be around for my children and grandsons. To constantly continue growing and changing in all aspects of life. Having someone consistently show you compassion and how much they cared about getting you better has given me the confidence and ambition to get better, be better, and do better.
