My husband was a patient at ASLMC. Annaliese was the nurse working with my husband when he returned from colon resection surgery. She was efficient and professional at all times but demonstrated care and concern whenever she spoke with my husband or any of the family. Her positive energy and attitude made it a healing environment at all times. She responded promptly to any questions we had and offered suggestions to help with his healing and post-op care. All of my family was impressed with her skill and care. Annaliese is a DAISY Nurse because of her clinical excellence and compassion.

There was an apartment fire in which this patient's neighbor died. The patient's cat was missing. Annaliese called fire department as the patient was hospitalized and could not go search apartment for her cat. The fire department found the cat, scared, hiding and sick from smoke inhalation. Annaliese went above and beyond that day contacting the patient's family, the fire department and the patient's doctors. The cat was found and was unharmed.
