Annemarie is not only is a dedicated nurse, but she is also a great manager. Annemarie shows great compassion to our patients and their families. Annemarie is always looking out for our team's best interests and well-being. I recently had emergency surgery and Annemarie called me or texted me every day while I was out on medical leave.

Annemarie's door is always open for her patients, collogues, and staff. She has a personable leadership quality and is willing to do whatever she needs to help our patients. Annemarie will pitch in at busy or short staff times and give allergy shots, clean a room, or just answer a phone call. Annemarie truly cares about our patients and gives care the Nemours way by exceeding our patients' expectations with compassion and a smile.

Annemarie is an excellent leader and her nurses are proof of that. She builds an excellent rapport with all of them which she has passed onto the newer allergy nurses. Every allergy shot child in New Jersey feels like a VIP because of Annemarie's listening skills, hugs, and arm massages!

Annemarie is a great Nurse Manager who is always leading by example. During our transition, Annemarie proved that endurance is one of her strengths. She worked long days and put in many hours of hard work to make this transition smooth without affecting patient care. During my orientation in 2017, Annemarie rounded monthly with me to get feedback and find out if orientation is going smooth.

I have had the privilege of working with Annemarie for approximately 8 years (first as our nurse and now as the nurse manager). What sets Annemarie apart from other nurse managers is her patient care. She makes patients and their families feel comfortable, despite uncomfortable tests that are being performed. She sets a great example for her nursing staff and we are lucky to have her!
