Annette Hawman 2, RN

My son was so afraid of the cardiac rhythm he had been in that brought him to the hospital. To begin with, his nerves were rattled, and then he had to go to the Cath Lab! He has a bad allergy to iodine and was extremely concerned. In comes Annette Hawman, what an awesome nurse! She was compassionate and made my son feel safe, welcomed, and at ease for his procedure. She explained what meds he would get to avoid an allergic reaction and she explained the procedure so well. She has a calm and entertaining personality, our entire family would like to nominate her for this award and thank her for her incredible contribution to the nursing profession. She stayed to try to speak to the EP provider about my son and did all of the scheduling for his procedure. I watched her do this. Thank you Annette for your dedication to patients.
