Ansley McClure continually displays a positive attitude, compassion, and excitement in her job. I witnessed her care for a patient who experienced a miscarriage, she displayed compassion and sympathy to her patient continually. While in the patient’s room she spoke in a caring and calm voice, often witnessed standing at the bedside listening to the patient's worries and questions. She offered continual reassurance to the patient that this unexpected loss was not their fault and that they would be cared for properly by the Obstetrical providers and staff members involved. She not only cared for her patient’s physical well-being but her mental and emotional well-being, providing continual holistic care. She not only ensured that the mother was cared for but the father was cared for as well, providing emotional support when needed. This is just one patient story and example of how this nurse displays her compassion for her patients and acts as a true ambassador for Habersham Medical Center and healthcare in general.
