My dad was in the cath lab today. Ardie was his nurse and she was absolutely amazing! She educated him on the do's and don'ts prior to discharge and made sure he recalled everything back to her as she was prepping him for discharge. She had a great personality and had nothing but nice things to say to him and our family. She treated my family like they were her own family and made jokes right along with us. You have a great team under you and just wanted to throw a kudos out to Ardie for her compassion and knowledge.

I received a call from Dr. M Friday night. He talked to me for about 10 minutes about the extraordinary care provided by Ardie McDowell. He actually started crying during our conversation and shared how much her care and compassion meant to him and his wife. He then sent the following email to me:
My name is Dr. M and I have worked with St. Francis for over 30 years. Last Wednesday, my wife was treated in the ER and she received excellent care. I wanted you to know that Ardie and staff in the cath lab holding were extraordinary.
