We came to peds after having tubes placed in ears and tubes removed that were recently placed and infected with MRSA. My son had to have an OICC line inserted in his chest and have IV antibiotics. He is on the autism spectrum and was so agitated. Ashley really helped with calming him down. She told him about her lab and daycare. She took extra time to calm and comfort him and tell us about her dog every day, which my son loved. She is a wonderful nurse by taking time to go over each step with him so he wasn't scared but by also going the extra mile to getting to know him and what he likes. She made our hospital stay so easy and amazing!
