My wife had a stroke about a year ago, changing her personality. During a recent hospital stay, she became upset and did not want to take the necessary medication. I tried to help her, but my wife wouldn't calm down and said she just wanted to go outside.
Ashtyn made special arrangements to take her outside and spend a few minutes in the sun. My wife calmed down, and when we brought her back in, she was a different woman — personally and medically.
I was embarrassed and upset by the way my wife acted, but Ashtyn stayed very sweet and understanding. I find it very reassuring that you all have the quality of staff that you do, and I find it remarkable that your employees haven't lost compassion for patients. The human factor would be really tough to hold on to, and I saw Ashtyn display professionalism along with patient love and care.

Thank you, Ashtyn, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
