Audrey was by far our favorite nurse during our 5-day stay after having twin boys. I am in for my scheduled C-section to find that I had high blood pressure. During my c-section and bubal, I lost more blood than planned so I had to stay in L&D 1 extra day. Having been through so much physically I was exhausted and not sure if I could breastfeed 2 babies.
Audrey was so calming, attentive, encouraging, knowledgeable, and organized. She made sure the babies learned how to latch on and eat when they needed to. She kept track on my board their feedings and wet and poopy diapers. She made sure I had all my meds when I needed them and was quick to come to me whenever I called for her. Audrey was so polite with my numerous visitors and knew when I needed to rest. My boyfriend and I absolutely loved her bedside manner and feel she is definitely in the right profession. We can tell she loves her job, cares about her patients, and continues to strive to be the best nurse she can be.
I remind Audrey every time I see her how much we loved having her as our nurse and I rave about her to customers and other employees in line when I wait on her in the café! I think Audrey is just a wonder and kindhearted person who is passionate about her job!
