She entered the room with a smiling face, listened attentively, and tried to come up with a solution for the patient. In the most challenging times, it is comforting to know that my loved one (Mom) received the highest compassionate care possible.
Since 2012, my mother has had a long treatment journey at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) after suffering from ovarian cancer until she died in 2019. I want to pay tribute to all team members at the KHCC for their kindness and professionalism, especially the nursing staff at the medical unit. Nurse "Aya" is one of them. She is a proactive, attentive, energetic, and compassionate nurse.

My mother spent the last two months at the medical unit requiring more care and attention. Aya provided her with compassionate nursing care to find her comfortable and safe. Aya also did her job with excellence and a wonderful attitude. She entered the room with a smiling face, listened attentively, and tried to come up with a solution for the patient. In the most challenging times, it is comforting to know that my loved one (Mom) received the highest compassionate care possible.

Recently, my grandmother was diagnosed also with ovarian cancer, I accompanied her to the same unit, as she needed specialized nursing care at the time when she was admitted. Again, Aya never failed to achieve the best for the patients and family members. Going through difficult times, she was there to be an outstanding nurse and provide excellent nursing care during her work. Aya also provided us as family members with hope and good psychological support. Her positive words made a huge difference for us. Aya went the extra mile to give attention to every detail of the patient's condition.

I'm glad to nominate her for this special recognition because she is genuinely committed to caring for her patients and their family members.
