I was very depressed and couldn't stop crying. Late one evening not long after I arrived, Barb noticed I wasn't leaving the room or eating. She came and held my hand and shared inspirational words of wisdom and some of her own personal experience. Her genuine care and reaching out to me totally changed my attitude towards my situation. The very next morning I got out of bed and started living again. Not sure I would be going home today if it wasn't for that evening discussion with Barb. She was truly the angel that saved me.
