My sister was hospitalized and had emergency surgery in late November 2021. Becky was her nurse several times during her weeklong stay. She was the initial nurse when we were making life and death decisions. Becky always treated my sister with respect and listened to what she was saying. She explained things to her and me so well and she always found out the information we needed and relayed it in a very understandable way. And she often repeated it but didn't act put out, she just explained it calmly to us again. She had such a calming demeanor and matter-of-fact presence that it put both my sister and me at ease knowing Becky was the nurse on duty. She was so kind and compassionate towards us that I can't stop thinking about how we should all be more like her.
