Becky has a difficult job, and she does it well. I was not ready for that procedure to be done to me. But she was like a Life Coach to me. She coached me all the way through it! From top to bottom, even though I was vomiting and panicking. But she was there for me. We were like really fast friends while we were together.
She kept me calm and collected with the tubing in my esophagus going down into my stomach. She was multitasking from the tube to the recorder, to me vomiting to handing me the tubes into which to vomit to the gauze for my mouth.
God Bless Becky for how she was treating me. From relaxing me; to doing her job. She is the right nurse for the job. She is calm and collected with her patients and her job. She does it well.
She "owns" that job! She is a heck of a woman to put up with vomiting, the tubing, and the patients. God put her in this position at IU Health Arnett!—esophageal manometry! She makes you feel warm and welcomed at IU Health Arnett Outpatient Surgery Center for esophageal manometry.
This test takes 30-60 minutes. No sedation is given. I did this while awake. Becky Mellon does this while we are awake. She is very attentive to her patients in all of this. Bless her for this hard, difficult job and for helping me so I can get my hernia ordeal over with. I choose her cause of her kindness and her manner of well-being with her patients.
