Bessie is a nurse that you would love to mass produce. Bessie told my daughter and me the truth about my husband's condition. We could see he was not improving like the other nurses were telling us. They were just doing their job - keeping up our hopes. When Bessie was asked she explained to us that that we already knew things were not improving. She asked us if doctors approved we could have palliative care nursing. That meant more to me. My husband received the care he would want to have as his life came to an end. Bessie helped our family be able to have the time we needed to say goodbye to our loved one.

I don't recall Bessie taking care of me in 2011 and 2012 but she has made up for it in 2013 because she took wonderful care of me. I had a good time being her patient.
