Beth M Turner, LPN

Beth went above and beyond her responsibilities as a nurse when she took an opportunity to creatively meet her patient’s needs on a medical-neuro focused unit at UPMC Community Osteopathic Hospital. She discovered her patient’s spouse was in the ICU at the hospital and coordinated with the ICU nurses to arrange for them to visit before the spouse was intubated. Beth safely transported her patient down to the ICU by carefully planning her patient’s own medical needs so the patient and the spouse could spend some time together. Beth demonstrated extreme compassion, teamwork, communication, and advocacy for her patient, the spouse, and family. Her patient was so grateful to her for making this happen for them. Beth makes a difference in the lives of her patients and their families every day. We are so proud to have her as a part of our awesome team!
