Beverly Arlene White, RN

Arlene was my father's assigned nurse. My father was admitted due to chest pain. The CTA and EKG done in the ER didn’t find anything and my father was still in serious pain. The morning Arlene came in and assumed nursing care, she immediately looked at his monitor readings and got the doctor. Arlene’s suspicion was correct, and dad was having an MI. My dad was so scared, his normal cheerful spirit changed. He was upset, scared, and confused. We all know that with fear and loss of control, we can become irritated and not pleasant. Arlene cared for my father with unwavering empathy and respect. She went above and beyond getting him whatever he wanted or needed. 

She is credited by our family for saving my father's life due to her exceptional nursing skills. We would also like to recognize the compassion, care, and empathy that she showed my father when he was at his lowest. She went above and beyond what the hospital expects of its nurses. Arlene is a great example of what and how a nurse should be. Thank you!
