Beverly Hoffman, RN

I went to Surgicenter of Kansas City to have arthroscopic hand surgery. A couple of days beforehand Nurse Beverly called me for a pre-op interview. During the phone call, Beverly was exceptionally kind, happy, and informative. She provided all the information I needed and answered all of my questions. Additionally, she assured me they would take good care of me. We even joked a little bit, and I felt like Beverly really cared about me as we established a friendly telephone friendship. I said, “If you are on duty the day of my procedure, pop in and say hello”. After checking in the Surgicenter on the day of my procedure, it was Beverly who came into the lobby introduced herself, and announced she was going to be my pre-op nurse. She said she had asked for me specifically! During all of the pre-op routines, Beverly was constantly attentive, friendly, and reassuring. She told me I was in good hands and that my surgeon was awesome. Of course, that made me feel even more comfortable and confident. Beverly not only provided outstanding professional nursing care she established a personal connection and bond that made my experience unintimidating, relaxed, and confident.
