I arrived at DeTar Navarro on Monday at 2 pm. Upon arrival, I was told my husband had to leave me here with “strangers.” I was very scared and very sick. I was immediately brought to my room, that’s where I met Bianca and she came in with not only a reassuring smile, but while I was still sitting in a wheelchair, she held my hand and hugged me. Bianca reassured me that she was going to give me the best care possible and she made me feel like I was her only patient she had in this very large hospital. Bianca held my hand when she knew I was scared and alone. She told me she loved me and it was not just words. It was heartfelt. You can’t teach someone to be compassionate or caring or how to be selfless. DeTar has so many excellent nurses, I have truly been blessed by Bianca during my stay. I will tell everyone how she touched my life. God has touched my life and Bianca will forever be one of my biggest blessings. She is an awesome nurse and deserves a grand award, thank you for making me feel not only like a patient, but family.
