An elderly mother was the ride home for the patient. This mother was unfamiliar with the area and could not navigate her phone for directions. She was very overwhelmed when she called the Endoscopy Department for assistance. Bill Brown utilized Google Maps to help her navigate to the hospital. He stayed on the phone with her the entire time, describing upcoming landmarks ahead. His calm but controlled actions helped relieve this quite stressful situation for the patient's mother and get her to the hospital safely to transport the patient home.
