Bindhu John, BSN, RN

I’m a unit secretary at a Corewell Health Hospital on the west side. During my week as a patient, I had to submit some very important paperwork to my employer for medical leave during scheduled work hours. I repeatedly asked for assistance with this matter and unfortunately, I needed a physician to fill out and fax the paperwork over so that I did not lose my job. Bindhu realized the importance and took the extra initiative to get my paperwork to a physician to be completed and sent over. Besides her being my nurse and taking great care of me as a patient/Corewell Health Member, she went above and beyond to make sure that I wouldn’t lose my position with limited resources. I thank her and commend her for her excellent efforts to assist me during my time here. We are a great hospital system and it takes a great team whether to the public or team members, all should support in times of need.
