I was at the THCDS for a procedure and am so grateful that Blair was assigned as my nurse. She was incredibly friendly and compassionate during my stay, which made my husband and I both feel more at ease in a very unfamiliar environment. Blair was very patient yet encouraging for me during my recovery, but one situation especially stands out as going above and beyond. My pain was well managed during my stay, but at one point, I started experiencing a very uncomfortable sharp pain under my ribs from the gas during surgery. Blair was fast to respond to my call button and was able to give me pain medicine and help reposition me to be more comfortable. Then, about 5 minutes later, she came back in saying she spoke with the charge nurse to brainstorm how they could alleviate the pain. Your organization is lucky to have Blair.
