We will always be grateful for the gift Bobbie gave Dad.
My Dad spent many days in MSICU before a decision was made to transfer him to Hospice/Palliative Care. There were a couple of very emotional days as my Dad came to terms with meeting the end of his life. He had dreamed of getting home to at least enjoy a little bit of sunshine on his deck. Bobbie made it her mission to get him outside of the ICU. He was still on sensitive IV drips and had drains, so this was not an easy task.
I have a beautiful picture of him smiling in the sun surrounded by the flowers outside Aspirus. Words can't describe how much Dad appreciated his last opportunity to feel the sunshine. We will always be grateful for the gift Bobbie gave Dad. Special nurses provide holistic care—Bobbie knew just what medicine Dad's soul needed most. Thanks, Bobbie!
