Brandi went with her and held her hand through the procedure. She treated my wife like she would her own mother, and her attitude and demeanor made us feel confident that she was going to be alright.
Brandi was so compassionate without being cloying! She encouraged and modeled open and honest communication. She explained everything in a forthright and intelligent manner. Her demeanor put us at ease - competent, competent, competent!

My wife was recovering from cancer surgery. She immediately assessed my wife's status and spent the next few hours cleaning her up, talking to her and me, and did a wonderful job of making her comfortable suctioning her trachea tube and reassuring her that everything was all right. She was kind and caring. When they took her down to insert a feeding tube, Brandi went with her and held her hand through the procedure. She treated my wife like she would her own mother, and her attitude and demeanor made us feel confident that she was going to be alright. She relieved a lot of anxiety, and that is priceless.

My sweet mother came into the hospital for a routine procedure, but in just a few weeks time, we discovered she had stage 4 cancer. Brandi was her nurse for the last 2 full days of Mom’s life. She came in with such a cheerful yet informative manner. She could multitask in such an efficient, caring way. For example, at the same time she was adjusting equipment, she could easily talk with us. She treated my dying mother with such care and love. One day, when I came in, she had placed a doll of Mom’s (she was a collector) in her arms. It was so touching. I see Brandi as going far in life due to her knowledge, efficiency, and empathy. Some nurses just have that natural “extra gift” and she is certainly one of them. I will always remember you, Brandi. Thank you.
