Brandy is ready for anything that happens in the ER. One day we were on diversion and we had a patient still come by ambulance because they refused to go anywhere else. She made sure there was a bed and that the patient was greeted with a smile. She also made sure that they got the care they deserved.

Brandy has recently stepped up as a Team Leader on days in the ED. She is a true asset to our department. Brandy leads by example. She is the first up to triage patients and assists EMS as they enter the ED. She continually works to reduce our patients that are leaving before being seen by a provider. Just yesterday her leading the team, the department cared for 89 patients with only two leaving. This is a huge win for the ED. Brandy has excellent clinical skills and knowledge but her leadership skills are what has made the difference. She is energetic, positive and will to do whatever it takes to ensure patients receive the best care. Brandy provides excellent care to her patients; she has been mentioned several times in our surveys and has directly impacted a major problem for the ED by reducing LWOBS with her strong leadership skills.
