My mother was taken to the ER at St. Luke's South Shore with possible congestive heart failure. She resides at a home in South Milwaukee and the decision was made that she needed to be seen.
The following day, I arrived to check on her when her nurse, Brandy Lintz, entered the room to explain to me what was being done for her. The conversation I had with Brandy made me feel at ease with my mother getting the attention she needs. While I was there she came into my mom's room several times and I could feel the concern about her care. I felt at ease when I left the hospital knowing she was in good hands. My husband and I came back later that day and Brandy gave us an update on how she was doing, explaining what was going on. When we left that visit Brandy told us to not hesitate to call her if needed.
I returned the next day and Brandy was there and once again was my mom's nurse. She gave me an update on how her evening went. Also, she explained how she was doing up until my arrival. I stayed for a few hours and told Brandy I had other commitments and wasn't sure I should leave. Brandy gave me the relief of knowing that she would be there until 7 pm and not to worry that I should go. If there was anything they would call me or I can call her anytime with questions. I did call her to check on her and Brandy once again gave me the info I needed.
This young lady is a very valuable employee and definitely has her heart and dedication in her job.
