Breanna was my wife's nurse. She assisted in the delivery of our identical twin boys. We knew our boys only had minutes to live once delivered. Breanna made sure everything was perfect. She allowed us to spend as much time with our little ones as we wanted, including accommodating the several family members we had as well. Breanna held my wife's hand, helping support her when I was too emotionally incapacitated to do so myself. She told us it's okay to not be okay. Breanna made sure we got extra copies of our boy's footprints/handprints so our family members could each have one. Her caring and compassion embody what the DAISY Award is all about.
