Brenda is a wonderful patient advocate who goes above and beyond to assist patients and their families with case management issues related to homecare services and placement, as well as insurance-related issues. Brenda takes the time to research and make multiple phone calls to find resources and services for her patients despite being told "no help is available" multiple times. I have experienced her advocacy personally on behalf of my father. He had been placed at a hospital in Kansas City three hours away from all family. He was on a Dobutamine drip, which cardiology said would be for life. Brenda worked diligently on the process of getting my father back to our local hospital for skilled care, as well as trying to find resources for help at home. I have also seen her work tirelessly to arrange transport and appointments for one of our paraplegic patients to see a wound doctor and get back home after being told by multiple facilities in Iowa and surrounding states that they would not accept him as a patient. Brenda is empathetic and compassionate to all people and their situations. She is a true blessing.
