Westchester Medical Center Trauma Intensive Care Unit (TICU) nurse Brendan McLean, RN, was honored with a DAISY award recognizing his expertise and the compassionate care that he provides to his patients and their families.
Brendan was nominated by the wife of a patient who was cared for in the TICU following a serious accident. The patient's wife called the level of care that her husband received from Brendan and the rest of the TICU team "awe-inspiring. Brandon's work is so important and he excels at it in every way possible. I will never forget his patience and caring manner toward my husband".
