Brian took the time to explain to us what her body was going through and answered the questions that we asked.
My aunt was a patient at this facility. She was admitted with double pneumonia, sepsis, hitt and dehydration at the age of 96. After several days of antibiotics, the doctor said that there was no change in her condition and suggested that hospice be called in if she returned to the nursing home. Her family was called in. D's daughter, myself, and my sister (nieces) decided to spend the night there with her as she had had a very bad night the night before. The nurse on duty that night went home ill and Brian took over. He came in and introduced himself and very gently checked my aunt and took her vitals.

Brian took the time to explain to us what her body was going through and answered the questions that we asked. I have never had anyone explain to me like that. He told us what to expect and what medication he was administering and how it would affect her body. He was so gentle with her and would brush her hair down and fold her hands on her chest after using her IV. He gave us our options and put us at ease when we saw her slipping away. He took his phone and played hymns for us while we waited. When he would leave her room, he would tell us when he would return and every time he was there as said. I have never met a nurse with as much care and compassion as Brian showed us. He made us feel at peace while experiencing such a trying time. My husband was in Obici 6years ago and he received excellent nursing but nothing like Brian performed that night and I am very grateful.
