These are very difficult times. The world has changed and empathy, compassion, and follow-through are rare and precious. My little one was quite ill and was seen in the ER. Though discharged, I awaited the results of her labs based on her continued illness.

This morning an angel called my phone. Brie was so caring and truly lovely in her follow-through with my toddler’s need for prescriptions to be called into the pharmacy. Not only did she update the doctor on the need for prescriptions to be called in ASAP (my pediatrician could not see my daughter until Monday), but she followed up with me an additional two times. She actually picked up the phone on multiple occasions to confirm the prescriptions were called in and reassured me that the pharmacy would have the necessary instructions.

Nobody does this anymore. To go above and beyond is worth recognition. To reassure a mother who had been worried sick is worth recognition. If we do not celebrate those in our society who make the difficult times bearable, we are missing an opportunity to let the good ones know they are seen and truly appreciated. Thank you, Brie.
