Brianna went above and beyond in showing compassion for her patient, when she floated to 3S. When the patient's brother came to see her and had questions for Brianna, she sat with him in the lobby for over half an hour to listen to their family's story, answer questions, and encourage him. She then spent another twenty minutes on the phone listening, answering questions, and encouraging the patient's daughter. This was all in addition to caring for the patient, answering call lights, quickly assisting her to move about safely, and ensuring the patient had everything she needed throughout the day. The compassion, service, and encouragement she showed to the patient and entire family went above and beyond her call of duty and how clearly displayed her wonderful heart for people and for nursing!
