My brother was on the 4th floor ICU for 3 weeks. He passed away. My sister and I joined his wife and daughter during his last few days there. I am a retired Nurse of 40 years and have seen all aspects of good and poor care. My family was so thankful for the Charge Nurse, who was also my brother’s Nurse: Bridget McCretton. She was so compassionate, professional, kind, and caring. She took not only excellent care of my brother but took care of all of us as well. She explained everything clearly and thoughtfully and helped the MD explain the pros and cons. Nursing is a tough profession, but Bridget picked the right one for her. I can’t say enough good things about her. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
