I have witnessed Brittaney go above and beyond in her duties every shift. She embodies all the great qualities that make a great nurse. Compassionate, empathetic, open-minded, trustworthy, truthful, tactful, welcomes diversity with open arms, advocates for her patients, respects her patients and their dignity, courageous, and committed to patients' safety and rights. Brittaney is usually the first one to jump in and help out her fellow team members, whether it be by assisting during a rapid, helping clean up a patient, or providing answers to a fellow nurse's questions.

Recently I was in need of assistance with a patient who desperately needed oral care with suction along with a complete bed bath and the patient's nurse was tied up in another room. Brittaney didn't hesitate to jump up and offer her help no questions asked. While this may seem like something minor, I know the patient was grateful for the wonderful care she provided and I appreciated the teamwork tremendously. This is who she is, always willing to help out her teammates and make sure the shift flows smoothly.
