Brittney was my nurse for two nights in a row. I had the absolute pleasure of her taking care of me while I delivered my 3rd baby here at Holy Cross. "Special" does not even come close to describing how amazing of a nurse she is. In my experience, my time laboring and delivering will be forever engrained in my mind and heart. My husband and I will never forget Brittney and the kindness and compassion she showed us. She put me at ease in a way I will always appreciate and cherish. Every step of the way Brittney explained how things would happen, why they were being done, and what to expect next. She is obviously experienced, knowledgeable and confident in her craft. Her ability to make me aware of what was going on kept me calm and made me feel like my son and I were safe in her care. Brittney made my husband and I feel like we were more than "just a job" to be completed during her shift. Brittney took the time and made the effort to make us feel like our individual experience mattered to her as well. I will never forget how she helped me and coached me through bringing my baby boy into this world. We are so blessed she was our nurse.
