Brooke transferred to Endoscopy early this year and is already making wonderful impressions not just with her colleagues, but also with our patients. Every day, she comes in with a positive attitude, is very calm, and with a sunny disposition. A patient described Brooke as an outstanding RN; professional, intelligent, calming, and patient oriented.

In her own words, "A young nurse named Brooke came in. I told her that the IV placed in my right hand was causing me pain and asked her to remove it. She did so immediately but then spoke to me with such kindness saying that she would like to start another IV. She encouraged me to continue with the procedure. I was very upset at the time, but Brooke patted my hand softly and said, "Don't worry, I feel the vein and can get the IV started." I reluctantly agreed, saying that you have one try. She quickly and painlessly placed the IV. I was so impressed, I asked if she would join me in the procedure room, which she did. Brooke is clearly a credit to your facility."
