My daughter had surgery on a Friday night and after a slow start to recovery, things started to progress on Monday night. She began getting up every 30-45 minutes, starting around 21:00. This continued until about 5:30 the next morning. Every time she was up, she needed Caitlin to help her with things I could not.
Well, each time I went to get a Caitlin to help her, I was always greeted with a smile as she knew why I was there to get her assistance. And not one single time did she ever make my daughter, or I, feel like she didn't want to help. She was busy helping everyone else and constantly being pulled back into our room to help my daughter, and still made her feel like she was the top priority. To me, that takes a special someone to be able to do that and this is why I think she is a true DAISY Nurse.
