Calvert Wood works at Acorn Lodge and has been nominated by his coworker who wrote about Calvert:

‘Calvert has worked for over twenty years working with very unpredictable young people who have at times been violent and emotionally challenging. I have known him for over thirteen years during which time he has demonstrated the highest level of tolerance, creativity and skills which he has imparted in a calm, thoughtful way. He is the ultimate role model and has impacted on so many young people’s lives in a positive way. Calvert is a selfless, modest and the most importantly effective in his sharing of knowledge to staff. One way of describing his contribution to nursing is extraordinary as an individual and as a team player’.
