Camille was our charge nurse of ICU and Neuro Critical Care. She multi-tasked proficiently, ensuring safe patient assignments as she gave great care to her own patient!
Camille has always been a professional role model. Tonight she went above and beyond both in her leadership role and in her care for her patient. She was ethical in titrating her patient's sedation meds to keep his PASS score within normal limits, even if it meant more intervention (rather than "snowing" him with sedatives). She was respectful and treated her patient with the utmost dignity, even when he was combative.
I have never worked with such a hardworking, positive team player in my 8 years of nursing! Camille had an incredible load to carry tonight and she maintained a great attitude, helped others and was very professional.
